Ingredients

1 cup dark corn syrup
3 - eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecans
1 - (9 inch) frozen pie crust
1/8 teaspoon salt

How To Make southern pecan pie

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2

Mix all ingredients gently with wooden spoon
Step 3

Bake on center rack of oven for 65 minutes
Step 4

Cool for 2 hours on a wire rack before serving
