I grew up eating sour cream raisin pie. My mother made many desserts with raisins and sour cream. She made the best pie's and they were always requested over cakes.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 3 - egg yolks
- 1 - egg white
- 1/2 cup raisins
- PIE CRUST
- 1/3 cup butter, cold
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 4-5 tablespoons water
How To Make sour cream raisin pie

Step 1Pie Crust: Mix flour, baking powder & salt together. Cut in butter to flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Then add apple cider vinegar and cold water. Mix into a ball and roll out. Prick crust so it does not bubble.

Step 2Bake crust at 400 F degrees for about 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool.

Step 3Filling: Combine all ingredients and cook until thick. Spoon filling into cooled pie crust and cover with a meringue or whipped cream. Enjoy!!
