How to Make Sour Cherry Pie
- 1preheat oven to 425
- 2mix sugar and flour.
- 3stir cherries into sugar mixture. turn into pastry lined pie plate.
- 4Sprinkle with almond extract and dot with butter.
- 5Cover pie with top crust that has slits cut into it. seal and flute edge.
- 6Bake until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through the slits. approx 35-45 minutes.
