Ingredients
- 1 - unbaked pie shell for 2 crust pie
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 cans pitted red tart cherries (16 oz) drained
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
How To Make sour cherry pie

Step 1preheat oven to 425

Step 2mix sugar and flour.

Step 3stir cherries into sugar mixture. turn into pastry lined pie plate.

Step 4Sprinkle with almond extract and dot with butter.

Step 5Cover pie with top crust that has slits cut into it. seal and flute edge.

Step 6Bake until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through the slits. approx 35-45 minutes.
