- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract

Step 1preheat your oven to 400 degrees f. make sure your frozen pie crust is thawed according to box directions for use

Step 2Combine the cherries, sugar, flour, and almond extract in lrg saucepan. Stir well an bring mixture to a boil over med heat.Boil for 1 min, stirring, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and cool the filling to room temperature.

Step 3put your pie filling in the nine inch pie pan with the bottom crust placed that youve prepared then place the top crust over the pie thats already prepared an trim the over hang to 1 inch, moisten the edges with a little water an turn under. cut several 1 inch slits in the top of pie crust to allow steam to escape during baking , Bake the pie in the center of oven until filling is bubbly and crust is golden about 35 min. ummmmmm
