Ingredients
- 8 - granny smith apples, cored, peeled and sliced
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups biscuit baking mix, divided
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons chilled butter
How To Make slow-cooker apple pie

Step 1Toss apples with cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. Place in a lightly greased slow cooker. Combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and 1/2 cup of biscuit baking mix. Spoon over apples. Combine remaining biscuit baking mix and brown sugar; cut in chilled butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over mixture in slow cooker; do not srit. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 7 hours or until apples are tender. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
