How to Make Simple Strawberry Pie
- In a saucepan, smash half of the chopped strawberries, in the crust; place the other half.
- Bring the strawberries in the pan to a boil; over medium - high heat and stir in the sugar and cornstarch. ( Continue stirring so not to burn )
Reduce heat to medium, and continue cooking until thickened.
Cool for about 10 minutes, and pour over the strawberries in the pie shell.
Chill and enjoy with or without a dollop of whipped cream.
