Ingredients

  • 2 medium
    sweet potatoes shredded (2 cups)
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    cubed butter
  • ·
    dash of salt
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • ·
    cinnamon to taste

How to Make SHREDDED SWEET POTATO PIE

Step-by-Step

  1. PEEL AND SHREDDED 2 MEDIUM SIZE SWEET POTATOES AND PLACE IN BOTTOM OF AN UNBAKED PIE CRUST.

    IN A BOWL MIX SUGAR (BOTH KINDS),FLOUR, AND SALT. SPRINKLE THIS MIXURE ON TOP OF POTATOES.

    MEASURE OUT YOUR MILK AND ADD VANILLA AND POUR ON TOP OF POTATO AND SUGAR MIXTURE.

    SPRINKLE CINNAMON AND DOT WITH BUTTER CUBES.

    BAKE AT 425 FOR 45-50 MINUTES.
