Ingredients
- WET INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups king syrup
- DRY INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 - 8" unbaked pie shells
How To Make shoo fly pie

Step 1In large bowl put baking soda, add boiling water and stir. Add king syrup and stir until blended.

Step 2In large bowl combine dry ingredients until they resemble the size of small peas.

Step 3In 3 small 8" pie shells put 1 1/3 cup liquid. Sprinkle over liquid evenly with 1/3 dry ingredients.

Step 4Bake in 400 degree oven for about 45 minutes until golden brown. Makes 3 8" pies.
