shari and kerri's pie crust
One of my closest friends on the planet shared a love for cooking and baking with me. I miss her dearly since I moved from Washington to Chicago. This is a recipe we wrote together after trying others. She doesn't like to use shortening so butter it is!

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 10 tablespoons butter
- 3-4 tablespoons ice water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (omit if you don't want a sweet pie crust)
How To Make shari and kerri's pie crust

Step 1This is for 1 10 inch pie crust. I use my food processor. It comes together so quickly!

Step 2Put flour, salt, sugar in food processor. Pulse a couple of times. Cut up cold butter into small cubes. Add to flour and run while you pour ice water through the top. Stop when pie crust comes together in a ball.

Step 3Put in saran wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
