rustic apple pie
This is so easy! And if you want to make it even easier, use store bought pie crust. Also, if you can find it, some stores sell caramel apple pie filling. To die for!!!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cans apple pie filling
- 1 1/2 sticks butter (cold and cubed)
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3-4 tablespoons ice cold water
How To Make rustic apple pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 400°. In medium sized bowl, mix first 4 ingredients. Add canned apples. Set aside.

Step 2In food processor, add flour, salt and butter. Pulse until just mixed.

Step 3Add just enough cold water to make it hold together.

Step 4Roll out on floured surface to a size bigger than your cast iron skillet. Dough should hang over the side about 3-4”.

Step 5Pour apple mixture in. Dot with cubes of butter. Fold sides over the apple mix all the way around.

Step 6Bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove from oven and let Cool.
