Ingredients
- 15 ounces eagle brand milk
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
- 2 large egg, separated
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tatar
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 - baked pie shell
How To Make richard's favorite lemon pie

Step 1Blend milk, lemon juice, rind, extract, and egg yolks.

Step 2Add cream of tatar to whites. Beat egg whites stiff enough to hold a peak. Add sugar gradually.

Step 3Fold egg white mixture into lemon mixture. Pour into shell and bake in slow oven (325 degree oven) for 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
