I have made this pie for years as soon as the first Rhubarb is ready. We all love this pie

Ingredients
- 1 - pastry for 9" two-crust pie
- 3 - eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 cups diced rhubard
- 1 tablespoon butter
How To Make rhubarb custard pie

Step 1Heat oven to 400

Step 2Prepare pastry.

Step 3Beat eggs slightly;add remaining ingredients except for butter and mix thoroughly. Pour into pastry lined pie dish.Dot with butter

Step 4top with a lattice top

Step 5cover edges with foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil last 15 minutes of baking

Step 6Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until nicely browned. I bake 50 minutes

Step 7Serve slightly warm
