pastry for 9" two-crust pie
3
eggs
2 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
milk
1/4 c
flour
1/2 tsp
nutmeg
4 c
diced rhubard
1 Tbsp
butter

How to Make Rhubarb Custard Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 400
  • 2Prepare pastry.
  • 3Beat eggs slightly;add remaining ingredients except for butter and mix thoroughly. Pour into pastry lined pie dish.Dot with butter
  • 4top with a lattice top
  • 5cover edges with foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil last 15 minutes of baking
  • 6Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until nicely browned. I bake 50 minutes
  • 7Serve slightly warm
