reethy's nutty top nude peach pie
I LOVE PEACHES ! While making a pie by Bobby (one of my fellow Pinchers), I had way too many peaches. Throwing them away was NOT AN OPTION ! Im also sometimes a LAZY COOK, and did'nt want to make a top crust. So this is what I did.... I hope you try it and ........ ENJOY !

Ingredients
- 1 medium peaches, canned with syrup
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 - sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- YOU WILL NEED AN BLENDER
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 - pie crust shell (deep dish) frozen
- - peacans chopped or whole
- SET OVEN @ 310 F
How To Make reethy's nutty top nude peach pie

Step 1In 2.5 Quart pot. Add peaches,butter,sugar,nutmeg,cinnamon and vanilla

Step 2bring to simmer until butter is melted

Step 3remove 1/4 peaches and some syrup, put in blender

Step 4Add flour and cornstarch, blend well

Step 5Add blended peaches back in whole peaches,stir together

Step 6Carefully tranfer to pie shell, cook until pie is set in center, to touch

Step 7Remove from oven let pie set 20 minutes. This will firm the pie even more

Step 8Top with Peacans (whole or chopped) ENJOY !
