When FALL is near, I get the biggest craving for Sweet Potato Pie. It brings back worm memories of my childhood, and my favorite time of the year FALL .

Ingredients

  • 1
    deep dish pie shell
  • 4 medium
    sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 pinch
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 stick
    butter, unsalted soften
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/3 c
    sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour

How to Make Reethy's Down Home Fluffy Sweet Potato Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Bake potatos @ 350 for 40 to 50 minutes, until fork tender.
    Let cool to touch, pill and smash in large bowel.
  2. Add ALL ingredients (except flour) in bowel an beat for 3 minutes. THIS WIIL REMOVE ALL THE FIBER STRING FROM THE POTATO.
  3. Clean beaters clean, repeat step 2, one more time.
  4. Add flour, mix well
  5. Transfer to pie shell. Bake @ 310, 35-45 minutes
    SLOW AND LOW
  6. ENJOY !
