I had an extra crust left from the weekend, so this delicious dessert is how I decided to use it.

homemade pie crust
1 c
canned pumpkin
1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c
heavy cream
1/2 c

How to Make ~ Punkin Pan Pie ~


  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degree.

    Pat out your crust into a 9x13 baking dish, up the sides about 1 inch. Double a piece of foil and place over dough and bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until turning golden around the edges. Remove from oven and set aside.
  • 2In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. Add the milk and eggs and blend well.
  • 3Pour over crust and bake for 20 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

    Cool, cut and serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. yummy.

    Note: This dessert is not thick, if you desire a thicker filling, double the filling ingredients and add more time for baking.
