This recipe was given to me by a neighbor. I think it's more of a custard pie. But what a nice texture and the taste is great.

Ingredients
- 9 - large eggs
- 3 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 quart whole milk
- 29 ounces can pumpkin
- 3 - frozen pie crust
How To Make pumpkin pie

Step 1Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees, along with 2 cookie sheets.

Step 2Beat the eggs in a large bowl until they are foamy, set aside

Step 3Beat the rest of the ingredients together blending well.

Step 4Fold in the beaten eggs.

Step 5Divide the filling amoung the three pie crust.

Step 6Place the pie's in the oven on the pre-heated cookie sheets.

Step 7Bake for 1 hour or until tooth pick comes out clean.

Step 8Allow to cool to room temperature.

Step 9Serve with vanilla Ice cream and some cool whip

Step 10For two pies use only 6 eggs and keep the remaining ingredients the same.
