  • pumpkin layer

    homemade or store bought 9 in pie crust- deep dish works the best
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    solid pack pumpkin
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • pecan layer
  • 2/3 c
    light corn syrup
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    pecan halves

How To Make pumpkin pecan pie

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees make pie crust and place in pie plate
  • 2
    For Pumpkin Layer: combine egg, pumpkin, sugar and pumpkin pie spice in a medium bowl. spread over bottom of pie crust
  • 3
    For Pecan Layer: combine corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla in a medium bowl, stir in pecans. Spoon over pumpkin layer.

    bake for 50 minutes or till filling is set.
