Ingredients

  • 4 c
    pitted and sliced fresh plums
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice concentrate
  • 1
    9 inch pie crust
  • TOPPING

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp
    cold butter

How to Make Plum Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. In a bowl mix the first 6 ingredients , Pour into pie shell
  2. for Topping, In a small bowl combine sugar, flour cinnamon and nutmeg cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs,
  3. sprinkle mixture over filling. bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown, cover edges of crust during the last 20 minutes to prevent over browning, cool on a wire rack.
