Ingredients

  • 4 cups pitted and sliced fresh plums
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice concentrate
  • 1 - 9 inch pie crust
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter

How To Make plum pie

  • Step 1
    In a bowl mix the first 6 ingredients , Pour into pie shell
  • Step 2
    for Topping, In a small bowl combine sugar, flour cinnamon and nutmeg cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs,
  • Step 3
    sprinkle mixture over filling. bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown, cover edges of crust during the last 20 minutes to prevent over browning, cool on a wire rack.
