Found this recipe 30+yrs. ago in a local paper near the Ft.Leonarndwood Army Post in MO.Its been so long I've lost the original so can't give credit to the creator of this delishes recipe.

Ingredients For pizza spaghetti pie

  • CRUST:
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 box
    stove top stuffing mix(herb flavor)
  • 1 sm
    onion,minced
  • FILLING:
  • 2 c
    cooked spaghetti noodles
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • TOPPING:
  • 1-1/2 c
    grated mozzarella or italian mix cheese
  • 8 oz
    pizza sauce
  • 1/4 c
    gr.onions(opt)
  • 1/4 c
    gr. peppers(opt)
  • 1/4 c
    black olives(opt)

How To Make pizza spaghetti pie

    TO MAKE CRUST

    Prepare stuffig according to pkg instructions,omitting butter.

    In a lrg. bowl mix onions and stuffing well with(uncooked)ground beef.

    Line a 9 or 10 inch pie pan to make a crust.

    Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.Drain off any fat and set aside

    TO MAKE FILLING

    In a med. bowl mix all 4 ingredients well.

    Fill cooked crust with filling.

    TOPPING

    Cover filling with the pizza sauce.

    Sprinkle cheese to cover sauce.At this point sprinkle (opt) ingredients over cheese.

    Return to oven and bake 15min. until cheese is golden and slightly bubbly.

    Remove from oven and let rest for 10 min.until filling cools enough to remove as a wedge from pie pan.
