This has been my go-to recipe for years whenever I was asked to bring dessert. Once again, it has all the qualities I look for -- simple recipe, easy to get ingredients, and unique taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 package 6-serving vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 8 oz cans crushed pineapple with juice
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 - 9 inch graham cracker or short bread pie crust
  • 2 cups whipped topping, thawed

How To Make pineapple sour cream pie

  • Step 1
    Combine pudding mix, pineapple with juice, and sour cream in deep narrow bowl.
  • Step 2
    Beat slowly with rotary beater or lowest speed of electric mixer for one minute.
  • Step 3
    Pour into pie crust.
  • Step 4
    Chill about 3 hours.
  • Step 5
    Garnish with whipped topping.
