This is a yummy pie topped with merinque! Whipped cream may be used for topping instead of meringue. Either topping is delicious!

Ingredients
- FILLING
- 1 1/2 cups crushed pineapple
- 2 - egg yolks
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon butter
- CRUST
- 1 - baked pie crust
- MERINGUE
- 2 - egg whites
- 1 tablespoon sugar
How To Make pineapple pie

Step 1Blend cornstarch and flour into sugar

Step 2Beat egg yolks and add pineapple, juice and all to above mixture.

Step 3Cook in a double boiler until thick. Pour into baked pie crust.

Step 4Whip egg whites stiff and add 1 tablespoon sugar. Put on pie and brown in oven. Cool, cut and enjoy!
