Ingredients

  • - crust
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans ( fine )
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter flavored crisco
  • 1/4 cup ice water
  • - pinch salt
  • - filling
  • 4 cups peaches cored and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • - praline mixture
  • 11/2 cups pecans, in pieces
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 1/8 tablespoons buter cut into pieces

How To Make pickens peachy parline pie

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350' mix flour and fine pecans with cold Crisco till crumbly
  • Step 2
    add water stir till forms a ball chill for 1 hour
  • Step 3
    roll out and cut side even with pie dish 9 inch dish
  • Step 4
    mix peaches, cinn,lemon juice, 1 c. sugar and 3 Tlbs flour in bowl till all peaches are covered set aside
  • Step 5
    mix remanding sugars and the butter till crumbly add chopped pecans till all covered place half in bottom of pie dish
  • Step 6
    sprinkle the rest of praline mix on top and use the left over crust to make cutouts of choice to decorate the sides of dish
  • Step 7
    bake at 350 40 mins or till golden grown and the juices are bubbling
