Ingredients

crust
1/2 c
chopped pecans ( fine )
1 1/4 c
all purpose flour
1/2 c
butter flavored crisco
1/4 c
ice water
pinch salt
filling
4 c
peaches cored and sliced
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 1/2 Tbsp
cinnamon
1 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
flour
praline mixture
11/2 c
pecans, in pieces
1/4 c
brown sugar
1/4 c
white sugar
3 1/8 Tbsp
buter cut into pieces

How to Make pickens peachy parline pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1preheat oven to 350'
    mix flour and fine pecans with cold Crisco till crumbly
  • 2add water stir till forms a ball chill for 1 hour
  • 3roll out and cut side even with pie dish 9 inch dish
  • 4mix peaches, cinn,lemon juice, 1 c. sugar and 3 Tlbs flour in bowl till all peaches are covered
    set aside
  • 5mix remanding sugars and the butter till crumbly add chopped pecans till all covered place half in bottom of pie dish
  • 6sprinkle the rest of praline mix on top and use the left over crust to make cutouts of choice to decorate the sides of dish
  • 7bake at 350 40 mins or till golden grown and the juices are bubbling
