Ingredients

  • ·
    crust
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans ( fine )
  • 1 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    butter flavored crisco
  • 1/4 c
    ice water
  • ·
    pinch salt
  • ·
    filling
  • 4 c
    peaches cored and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • ·
    praline mixture
  • 11/2 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    white sugar
  • 3 1/8 Tbsp
    buter cut into pieces

How to Make pickens peachy parline pie

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 350'
    mix flour and fine pecans with cold Crisco till crumbly
  2. add water stir till forms a ball chill for 1 hour
  3. roll out and cut side even with pie dish 9 inch dish
  4. mix peaches, cinn,lemon juice, 1 c. sugar and 3 Tlbs flour in bowl till all peaches are covered
    set aside
  5. mix remanding sugars and the butter till crumbly add chopped pecans till all covered place half in bottom of pie dish
  6. sprinkle the rest of praline mix on top and use the left over crust to make cutouts of choice to decorate the sides of dish
  7. bake at 350 40 mins or till golden grown and the juices are bubbling
