3whole eggs

2 csugar

1 Tbspflour, all purpose

1 pinchsalt

2/3 cbuttermilk

1/2 cbutter, melted

1 1/2 tspvanilla
How to Make Pete's Buttermilk Pie
- Beat eggs and combine with buttermilk. Add other ingredients and blend well.
Pour batter into unbaked 9 inch pie shelll. - Bake 10 minutes at 250 degrees and then increase oven temperature to 300 degrees and continue baking for 50 minutes more. Test for doneness with clean knife inserted into center of pie. If it comes out clean, it is done.
- This is great to eat as is, even when warm or with a whipped cream topping.
