peggi's homemade mincemeat for pies
I used left over prime rib in the restaurant I worked at to make this recipe. It is wonderful.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds lean beef, shredded or ground, precooked & cooled, unseasoned
- 4 pounds apples
- 3 pounds raisins
- 6 cups brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 - oranges, peeled, then ground
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 cups apple cider or grape juice or orange juice
How To Make peggi's homemade mincemeat for pies

Step 1Mix all together & set in fridge overnight before using.
