Ingredients
- 1- 3 oz packages cream cheese
- 1/2 C - butter
- 1/4 C - sugar
- 1 C - flour
- 1 - egg
- 3/4 C - brown sugar, packed
- - dash salt
- 1 T - softened butter
- 3/4 tsp - vanilla
- 3/4 C - broken walnuts or pecans
How To Make pecan tassies

Step 1Blend cheese, butter, sugar; stir in flour. Chill 1 hour or longer.

Step 2Shape into 1" balls (24). Place into small lightly greased muffin tins; press dough against bottom and sides.

Step 3Beat egg with brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt just until smooth. Sprinkle 1/2 the nuts in tins; add egg mixture, then remaining nuts.

Step 4Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from tins.
