Ingredients

  • 1- 3 oz pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 C
    butter
  • 1/4 C
    sugar
  • 1 C
    flour
  • 1
    egg
  • 3/4 C
    brown sugar, packed
  • ·
    dash salt
  • 1 T
    softened butter
  • 3/4 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3/4 C
    broken walnuts or pecans

How to Make Pecan Tassies

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend cheese, butter, sugar; stir in flour. Chill 1 hour or longer.
  2. Shape into 1" balls (24). Place into small lightly greased muffin tins; press dough against bottom and sides.
  3. Beat egg with brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt just until smooth. Sprinkle 1/2 the nuts in tins; add egg mixture, then remaining nuts.
  4. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from tins.
