1- 3 oz pkgcream cheese
3/4 Cbrown sugar, packed
1 Tsoftened butter
3/4 Cbroken walnuts or pecans
How to Make Pecan Tassies
- Blend cheese, butter, sugar; stir in flour. Chill 1 hour or longer.
- Shape into 1" balls (24). Place into small lightly greased muffin tins; press dough against bottom and sides.
- Beat egg with brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt just until smooth. Sprinkle 1/2 the nuts in tins; add egg mixture, then remaining nuts.
- Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from tins.
