Ingredients

1- 3 oz pkg
cream cheese
1/2 C
butter
1/4 C
sugar
1 C
flour
1
egg
3/4 C
brown sugar, packed
dash salt
1 T
softened butter
3/4 tsp
vanilla
3/4 C
broken walnuts or pecans

How to Make Pecan Tassies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Blend cheese, butter, sugar; stir in flour. Chill 1 hour or longer.
  • 2Shape into 1" balls (24). Place into small lightly greased muffin tins; press dough against bottom and sides.
  • 3Beat egg with brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt just until smooth. Sprinkle 1/2 the nuts in tins; add egg mixture, then remaining nuts.
  • 4Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from tins.
