- 3 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 - 9 inch deep dish unbaked prepared frozen pie crust
How To Make pecan pie with a twist

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 bake. The twist to this recipe is to place a cookie sheet in the oven when you preheat the oven. This way, you can use a frozen pie crust and the bottom of the pie will cook faster and will not have a raw dough taste when done. A double insulated cookie sheet is NOT recommended.

Step 2In a large bowl stir eggs, sugar, light syrup, melted butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into 9 inch DEEP DISH frozen pie crust.

Step 3Bake 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

Step 4Cool on wire rack.
