- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup pecans, broken into small pieces
- 3 - eggs, room temperature, slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- dash salt

Step 1Bake pie shell at 400 degress for 3-4 minutes and set aside to cool. Mix remaining ingredients together and bring to a boil over medium high heat; stirring constantly. Pour into cooled pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees approximately 15 minutes or until filling is golden brown. Center of pie may look soft but will become firm when pie is cool.
