This recipe came from All Recipes site and I have not had time to make it as yet but I saw on the comments that this pie was great so we shall see if it is so won't we when you try it and let me know! ha ha I plan on making this pie as soon as I do my big grocery shop next week. and I will post a picture then.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup baking splenda (splenda and white sugar)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How To Make pecan pie for diabetics

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 350.
  • Step 2
    beat eggs until foamy and stir in melted butter
  • Step 3
    Stir in brown sugar,baking splenda and flour. mix well
  • Step 4
    Add milk,vanilla and nuts and mix well.
  • Step 5
    Pour into a 9 inch pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees then reduce to 350 and bake for 30-40 minutes or until done.
  • Step 6
    NOTE: Calories 313 Fat 22.6g cholestrol 84mg doesn't show the carbs sorry
