I copied this recipe from a 1980's church cookbook. Roberta R. Crotts submitted this recipe. It is very delicious and is almost like eating cheesecake and pecan pie at the same time. Make two, because one won't last.

    cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
  • 1
  • 1 1/4 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1
    10 inch pie crust

  • 1 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Pecan Pie Cheesecake


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg until smooth. Pour into bottom of pie crust. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  2. Beat the corn syrup, sugar, eggs and vanilla together until smooth. Spread over pecan layer. Bake for 50 minutes or until pastry is golden and filling is firm. Serve warm.
