I know there are many variations of Pecan Pie. This recipe is really good. I have used walnuts and it is very tasty. The maple syrup gives it a whole new flavor.

Ingredients For pecan pie

  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    maple syrup (or white karo syrup)
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    margerine
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c
    chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1
    unbaked 9-inch deep pie shell

How To Make pecan pie

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients except nuts in mixing bowl at medium speed until well blended. Using spatula, stir in nuts. Pour into unbaked 9-inch deep pie shell.

    Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. (If it jiggles in the center, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the center bubbles). Remove from oven and cool.
