I know there are many variations of Pecan Pie. This recipe is really good. I have used walnuts and it is very tasty. The maple syrup gives it a whole new flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup (or white karo syrup)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon margerine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 - unbaked 9-inch deep pie shell
How To Make pecan pie

Step 1Mix all ingredients except nuts in mixing bowl at medium speed until well blended. Using spatula, stir in nuts. Pour into unbaked 9-inch deep pie shell.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. (If it jiggles in the center, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the center bubbles). Remove from oven and cool.
