I always get asked to make these so I guess people like it. You can use light corn syrup if you like. You may also choose to chop your pecans. I think dark corn syrup and pecan halves give it more taste.

Ingredients
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1 - (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
How To Make pecan pie

Step 1Stir first 5 ingredients thoroughly with a spoon.

Step 2Mix in pecans and pour into pie crust.

Step 3Bake on center rack for 60 to 70 minutes.

Step 4Cool for 2 hours.
