This is a simple but great recipe for pecan pie. I have been using it for many years. The filling has a "fluffy" texture. I also like to grind my pecans instead of chopping them

- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- dash salt
- 2/3 cup corn syrup, light
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1-2 teaspoon all purpose flour

Step 1Combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs , salt and flour.

Step 3Pour into 9 inch unbaked pie shell.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min. or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean
