not sure where I got this recipe but the story says it is over 100 years old. Nothing better than a warm piece of pecan pie with vanilla ice cream on top.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups dark karo syrup
- 3 - eggs, room temperature
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup pecans, halved
- 1 - 9" unbaked pie shell
How To Make pecan pie

Step 1Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix together sugar and Karo syrup. Add eggs, one at a time; add butter. Blend well. Add pecans halves. Mix well. Pour into pie crust and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool before cutting
