Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup karo syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch all purpose flour
- 2 - 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup halved, shelled pecans
- 1 large deep-dish pie shell
How To Make texas pecan pie

Step 1PREHEAT: Oven to 350 degrees F. BUTTER: Rim of pie shell. SPREAD: Pecans in bottom of pie shell. MIX: All other ingredients in medium sized mixing bowl including leftover butter from buttering rim of pie shell. POUR: Mixture over pecans in pie shell. BAKE: In 350 degree F oven until done. (Done when center of pie doesn't jiggle). COOKING TIMES: Vary with different ovens, but approx. 40-45 minutes. COOL: Completely until set and firm. TO SERVE: Cut into 6 to 8 equal pieces. STORE: Leftovers in covered container in refrigerator. (If there are any...)
