Ingredients

  • 1 - 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 3 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup pecans

How To Make pecan pie

  • Step 1
    In a mixing bowl, combine beaten eggs, sugar, vanilla, melted butter, and syrup. Beat till well blended.
  • Step 2
    Add pecans and pour into pie shell. Bake in 400*F oven 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat to 325*F and bake 25-30 minutes longer. Test for doneness when knife inserted into center comes out clean.
