This recipe was given to me by the Postmistress of Niland, Cal. I have never tried it but she said it was her favorite.

Ingredients
- 1 cup pecans halves or chopped coarsely
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar you can use white or brown
- 1 cup light or dark corn syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make pecan pie

Step 1Prepare a pie with 1 bottom crust

Step 2Beat eggs, add the sugar and syrup mix well then add salt and vanilla and last the melted butter or margarine.

Step 3Place the pecans in the bottom of the unbaked pie crust. Pour in the filling and bake at 350* for 50-60 min. The nuts rise to the top of the filling and form a crusted layer. Eat and enjoy
