This recipe was given to me by the Postmistress of Niland, Cal. I have never tried it but she said it was her favorite.

Ingredients

1 c
pecans halves or chopped coarsely
3
eggs
1/2 c
sugar you can use white or brown
1 c
light or dark corn syrup
1/8 tsp
salt
1/4 c
melted butter
1 tsp
vanilla

How to Make Pecan Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Prepare a pie with 1 bottom crust
  • 2Beat eggs, add the sugar and syrup mix well then add salt and vanilla and last the melted butter or margarine.
  • 3Place the pecans in the bottom of the unbaked pie crust. Pour in the filling and bake at 350* for 50-60 min. The nuts rise to the top of the filling and form a crusted layer.
