The ingredients are a little bizarre, but the pie is tasty. I've only used the Ritz crackers, but other "buttery" crackers may work just as well.

Ingredients
- 3 - egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 14-16 - ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
How To Make pecan merigue pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degees. Spray 9" pie plate with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Step 2Crush Ritz crackers and mix with chopped nuts. Set aside.

Step 3In mixer with whisk attachment, beat 3 egg whites until frothy. Slowly add granulated sugar and vanilla extract. Continue beating until stiff peaks form.

Step 4Fold cracker-nut mixture into egg whites and pour into pie pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
