Ingredients
- 3/4 cup and 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 - flour
- 2 cups hot milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cold milk
- 2 - egg yolk
- 1 cup pecans, in pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - egg whites
- 1 - pie shell, baked
How To Make pecan creme pie

Step 1mix 3/4 cups sugar,flour,salt and cold milk.

Step 2stir until smooth.

Step 3add to hot milk,stir constantly until thick.

Step 4add the beaten egg yolks,pecans and vanilla.

Step 5stir until well mixed.(do not let come to a boil !)

Step 6pour into baked pie shell and set aside.

Step 7beat egg whites until stiff. mix in 2 tablespoon sugar and dash of vanilla,stir until mixed.

Step 8top pie with mixture,leaving small peaks.

Step 9bake at 400* until top turns light golden brown.
