Ingredients
- 10 - inch unbaked pie shell
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans, chopped coarsely
- 1 cup karo syrup
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring

Step 1Beat together cream cheese, sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla. Spread over bottom of unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecans even over cream cheese layer. Topping: 3 eggs, maple flavoring, sugar, and corn syrup. Combine all topping ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour over pecan layer. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 - 45 minutes or until pecan layer is golden brown. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream, if desired. 12 servings.
