- Beat together cream cheese, sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla. Spread over bottom of unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecans even over cream cheese layer.
Topping: 3 eggs, maple flavoring, sugar, and corn syrup. Combine all topping ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour over pecan layer. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 - 45 minutes or until pecan layer is golden brown. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream, if desired. 12 servings.
