Ingredients

  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 21/2 tablespoons cold water
  • PIE CRUST
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 11/2 cups sugar
  • 11/3 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs well beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make peanut butter pie

  • Step 1
    pie crust - mix ingred together one by one with a fork add only enough water to hold pastry together.
  • Step 2
    filling - cream peanut butter and vanilla together add sugar,salt to creamy mixture. cream until well blended blend in eggs,milk stir well
  • Step 3
    turn into pie shell bake 450 frist 10 min reduce heat to 350 for 45 mins,or until knife comes out clean
