Ingredients
- CRUST:
- 1 prepared chocolate cookie pie crust
- FILLING:
- 1 stick salted butter, softened (1/2 cup)
- 1 jar peanut butter, creamy (16 oz.)
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- TOPPING:
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
How To Make peanut butter pie

Step 1Beat butter until creamy.

Step 2Add peanut butter; beat until well combined.

Step 3Stir in the powdered sugar, vanilla and salt; beat until well combined and smooth.

Step 4Pour mixture into chocolate cookie crust, smoothing out to the side.

Step 5Place in freezer while preparing fudge topping.

Step 6Over medium heat, bring cream to a slight simmer; remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips. Allow to rest 5 minutes, then stir until chocolate is melted and smooth (may return to very low heat, if necessary.)

Step 7Remove pie from freezer. Pour chocolate over pie, smoothing out to the edge.

Step 8Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour before serving (2 hours is better.) Refrigerate leftover.
