Peanut Butter Bars

I made these as a bar cookie because I was too tired to make individual cookies! As it turned out, they were much better than cookies. Very moist and they stay moist until they are gone. This is please everyone with a sweet tooth.

    baking soda
  • 1 1/4
    white sugar
  • 1 c
  • 3
    large eggs
  • 1 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4
    sugar cinnamon mixture for topping

How to Make Peanut Butter Bars


  1. Mix eggs, butter, peanut butter and vanilla well.
  2. Add dry ingredients into creamed mixture, blend well.
  3. Pour into a 13 x 9 pan--grease with Crisco shortening.
  4. Sprinkle evenly the sugar-cinnamon mixture on top.
  5. Bake at 300 degrees apprx. 45 minutes - hour until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
