peaches and cream pie

This came out of one my favorite cookbooks; excellent!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup self-rising flour
  • 3 1/2 ounces pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 - egg
  • 15 1/4 ounces can sliced peaches, 3 t. juice reserved
  • 8 ounces pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup + one t. sugar, divided
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

How To Make peaches and cream pie

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, pudding mix, butter, milk, and egg. Beat for two minutes. Pour into a 9" pie pan. Pour peaches into pie pan. Beat together cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and peach juice. Place on top of peaches. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Good warm or cold! ENJOY!
