peach jello pie
Tasted this dish at a recent covered dish affair and was unable to find it's owner. So, searched internet until I found this recipe which is mighty close to the wonderful pie that I had.

Ingredients
- 1 - 9 inch frozen pie crust
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 package peach jello
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cool whip
- - 6-7 fresh peaches, sliced
How To Make peach jello pie

Step 1Bake pie crust according to directions, set aside.

Step 2Bring to a boil the water, sugar and corn starch until it thickens. Add the jello, vanilla and butter. Mix and let cool.

Step 3Mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and cool whip. Smooth into the bottom of the pie crust, then line with the peaches and pour the jello mixture on top. Chill and serve.
