peach cobbler pie
This was originally given to me by a friend that made this pie with apples. I decided to give it a try with peaches. I top the pie off with homemade french vanilla whipped cream and a pinch of nutmeg

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour (you can use self rising flour)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 - egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (i use vanilla nut by watkins)
- 2 - regular pie crust shell or 1 deep dish shell
- 2 cans peach slices drained and divided
How To Make peach cobbler pie

Step 1Pre-Heat the oven to 325 degrees. Put even amounts of the drained peach slices in the uncooked pie crusts

Step 2Combine all the dry ingredients together (Sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg)

Step 3whisk the cream, egg and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients whisking constantly until mixed

Step 4pour half of the mixture into each pie crusts. The mixture wont completely cover the peaches but it will rise during the cooking process.

Step 5Cook the pies at 325 for 1 hr or until the middle of the pie is set.
