This was originally given to me by a friend that made this pie with apples. I decided to give it a try with peaches. I top the pie off with homemade french vanilla whipped cream and a pinch of nutmeg

Ingredients

1 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
all purpose flour (you can use self rising flour)
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1 c
heavy cream
1
egg
1 Tbsp
vanilla extract (i use vanilla nut by watkins)

regular pie crust shell or 1 deep dish shell
2 can(s)
peach slices drained and divided

How to Make Peach Cobbler Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pre-Heat the oven to 325 degrees. Put even amounts of the drained peach slices in the uncooked pie crusts
  • 2Combine all the dry ingredients together (Sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg)
  • 3whisk the cream, egg and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients whisking constantly until mixed
  • 4pour half of the mixture into each pie crusts. The mixture wont completely cover the peaches but it will rise during the cooking process.
  • 5Cook the pies at 325 for 1 hr or until the middle of the pie is set.
