  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    coconut, flaked
  • 1 1/2 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 c
    pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 7
    egg whites, unbeaten
  • 1
    9 inch unbaked pie shell
  • ·
    whipped cream
  • ·
    sliced bananas

How to Make Patti's Sawdust Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. In large bowl combine first five ingredients. Mix well by hand. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in preheated 325° oven for 25 to 30 minutes....DO NOT OVERBAKE! Center should be gooey. Serve warm topped with sliced bananas & whipped cream.
