oreo banana cream pie
I love those Oreo pie crusts you can buy and I look for excuses to use them! I had some bananas and mini chocolate chips in the pantry—a can of sweetened condensed milk later, I was in pie heaven!

Ingredients
- 2 - bananas, sliced
- 1 - lemon
- 1 - 9-inch oreo cookie pie crust
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 - egg yolks
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons good vanilla
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
How To Make oreo banana cream pie

Step 1Squeeze lemon over sliced bananas. Place half of the banana slices in the bottom of the prepared pie crust. Set aside.

Step 2Combine corn starch, water and salt in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Whiskwhiskwhisk until thoroughly mixed. Heat over medium heat. Add egg yolks and condensed milk. Whiskwhiskwhisk some more. Cook custard over medium heat until bubbly and thick. Remove from heat and whisk in butter and vanilla.

Step 3Cool custard for a 10-15 minutes. Pour into prepared crust over sliced bananas. Top with remaining sliced bananas and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Cool 4-6 hours. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
