Ingredients
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, halved
- 1 - 9 inch unbaked pie shell
- - whipped cream (optional)
How To Make orange pecan pie

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add molasses, corn syrup, orange juice, orange peel and vanilla; beat until well blended. Stir in pecans. I like to run the pecans through a nut mill when I make pecan pies because it makes a wonderful crunchy top - it is good either way - with pecan halves or the chopped pecans.

Step 3Bake 30 - 45 minutes or until filling sets. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
