Orange Pecan Pie
1/2 cgrandma's molasses (or your favorite)
1/2 clight corn syrup
1/4 corange juice, fresh or bottled
1 tspvanilla extract
1 1/2 cwhole pecan halves
19 inch unbaked pie shell (homemade is better)
·whipped cream (optional)
1 tsporange peel, grated
How to Make Orange Pecan Pie
- Heat oven to 350F. In large bowl, beat eggs. Add molasses, corn syrup, orange juice, orange peel, and vanilla; beat until well blended. Stir in pecans.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 30 to 45 minutes or until filling sets. Cool on wire rack. Garnish as desired. Serve with whipped cream, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
