I got this recipe same time and place I got the Lemon Pecan Pie recipe. Hammett House in Claremore, Oklahoma. This is very good, especially if you like oranges. I love oranges. I like this pie. I made the lemon pie first, when I got the recipes, and the family latched onto the lemon as their favorite. They liked the orange, but if it comes to a vote, the lemon wins out.Soooo, try the orange.

Ingredients For orange pecan pie

  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/2
    cup sugar
  • 1 cup
    dark corn syrup
  • 1 tbs
    grated orange peel
  • 1/3 cup
    orange juice
  • 1 tbs
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 cup
    very fine chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup
    pecan halves

How To Make orange pecan pie

  • 1
    Combine first 7 ingredients, beat at medium speed of mixer until blended. Stir in chopped pecans.

    Arrange pecan halves on top of pie. Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes or till knife comes out clean.
